In some situations, you might be required to clear your browser cache to solve certain technical issues. That’s why we’ve created this quick tutorial to help you out!
For an optimal experience, we recommend that you use Chrome as your browser when visiting our website. This is why this page will show you how to clear your browser cache in Chrome. Please refer to the links at the bottom of this page to learn how to clear your cache in other browsers.
To start, please open Chrome on your device and follow the steps below:
- With Chrome open, you can click on the menu icon in the top right of your screen:
- This will open the main menu, where you can select ‘Settings’:
- You will then be taken to the Settings menu, where you can select "Security and Privacy" from the list:
- In the following menu, please click on "Clear browsing data" at the top of the list:
- A pop-up menu will appear where you can select which data you want to delete. To clear your browser cache, you will only need to select "cached images and files". We recommend you select "all time" as a time range. Please click on the "Clear data" button to finish:
Safari:
Here is how to clear the Safari browser cache on iPhone:
- Open Settings .
- Select Safari from the list of apps.
- Tap Clear History and Website Data, select Clean History and Data at the bottom of the screen and confirm by tapping Remove Now.
Android:
To free up even more space on your phone, wipe app data, too. That will delete all user data stored within an app, not just the temporary cache files. The app itself won’t be deleted, but it will be reset, meaning you’ll need to sign in again and reset any preferences.
Here’s how to clear app data on Android devices: Open Settings and select Apps. Tap on the NorthStar Bets app clear app data , then select Storage followed by Clear cache.
iOS(iPhone and iPad):
Unlike browser cache, which can be cleared through the app menu, the only way to clear cache on iPhone apps such as Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, or YouTube, is to remove them completely from your device, and then reinstall the app.
To do this, go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage. Choose NorthStar Bets, then tap Delete App
